2. Water

Fact: The process of printing requires ink and water, ink adhering to the porus surfaces of plates and water washing the rest away.
The use of this water can be greatly reduced by waterless printing or by digital printing.
Water recycling, sprinklers, pressure taps can also be used.
A small number of printing companies are even investing in the possibilities of rainwater harvesting.
